Central Railway announes three new trains

Mumbai, Sep 2 (UNI) Central Railway (CR) today announced introduction of three trains between Amravati and Mumbai, Amravati and Nagpur and Amravati and Surat.

President Pratibha Patil will flag off the special inaugural train between Amravati and Mumbai on September seven at 1615 hrs, Central Railway said in a release here today.

The Amravati-Mumbai Superfast Express (No 2111) will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, Mumbai on every Monday and Saturday at 2005 hrs from September eight and will arrive Amravati at 0815 hrs next day.

The return train (No 2112) will leave Amravati on every Tuesday and Sunday at 1725 hrs from September nine and will arrive Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai at 0515 hrs next day. The train will halt at Dadar, Kalyan, Igatpuri, Nasik Road, Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Malkapur, Shegaon, Akola, Murtizapur, and Badnera in both the directions.

The Amravati-Nagpur Superfast Express (No 2119) will run on five days in a week, except Saturday and Sunday. It would depart at 0515 hrs from September eight and will arrive Nagpur at 0835 hrs same day. The return train (No 2120) will leave Nagpur at 1825 hrs on all days, except Fridays and Saturdays, at 1825 hrs from September eight and arrive Amravati at 2145 hrs same day. This train will halt at Badnera, Dhamangaon, Pulgaon and Wardha in both the directions.

The Amravati-Surat Fast Passenger (No 126) will leave Amravati on every Friday and Monday at 0900 hrs from September eight and arrive Surat at 2115 hrs same day. The return train (No 125) will leave Surat on every Thursday and Sunday at 1050 hrs from September 11 and arrive Amravati at 2230 hrs same day. This train will halt at Badnera, Murtijapur, Akola, Jalamb, Varangaon, Bhusaval, Jalgaon, Amalner, Nandurbar and Udhna in both the directions, the release added.
