Burglars loot Rs 1.8 lakh in cash and jewellery

Panaji, Sep 2 (UNI) In a daring daylight burglary, miscreants decamped with jewellery worth Rs 1.8 lakh and cash of Rs 4,000 after breaking into an aged woman's house in Margao city today.

The burglars sneaked into the house through a ventilator when the woman was away for shopping, police said.

Efforts were being made to identify the culprits, police said.
