K'taka to provide Rs 10 cr to flood victims in Bihar

Bangalore, Sep 1 (UNI) Karnataka Home Minister V S Acharya today said the state government would provide a financial aid of Rs ten crore to flood victims in Bihar.

Talking to newspersons here, he said the government would handover the funds along with relief meterials, including milk powder, food packets, rugs and boats to take up rescue operations.

The people in the state were marooned by the waters of mighty Kosi river in north Bihar.

The relief materials would be sent in a day or two, he added.
