Gammon Infra to build 261 MW hydro power plant in HP

New Delhi, Sep 1 (UNI) Gammon Infrastructure Projects Ltd today said it received a contract to build the 261 MW Youngthang Khab hydroelectric plant in Himachal Pradesh.

The project, to be built on build-own-operate-transfer (BOOT) basis, costs Rs 1,510 crore and will be operated by the company for 40 years, it said in a statement.

The project is on the river Spiti in the Kinnaur district of the state.
