Jaipur, Sep 1 (UNI) Sitting MLAs Madan Mohan Singhal, Yashwant Ramu and former minister Shashi Dutta figured in the first list of 155 BSP candidates released here today, for the assembly elections due to be held by November.

The party has also released the list of candidates from Rajasthan, for the 13 out of 25 Lok Sabha seats, for the coming elections.

Former External Affairs Minister Natwar Singh's son Jagan Singh, a sitting MLA, would be fielded from the newly created Jaipur Rural Parliamentary constituency as and when the Lok Sabha elections are held, Party General Secretary Dharmvir Ashok said while releasing both the lists.

The BSP is the first party which has announced its candidates for the assembly elections even as the election programme is yet to be announced by the Election Commission.

While Mr Ramu, son of former Deputy Speaker late Yadunath Singh was being fielded from Nadbai in Bharatpur district, Mr Singhal would contest Kaman seat in the same district. While Ramu won last election as an Independent, Mr Singhal contested in 2003 as a BJP nominees. They had joined BSP a few months ago.

Two sitting BSP legislators Murari Meena and Suresh Meena did not figure in the first list but they would be refielded by the party, Mr Ashok said.

The party was considering their request to change their constituencies, he added.

The party would contest all the 200 Assembly seats on its own, without forging an alliance with the other party, Mr Ashok informed.
