Addressing a huge Rally at Ramlila Maidan, called by the Unauthorised Colony Mahasangh, Mr Rajnath Singh said the BJP had set up a special fund to provide relief to the flood-hit in Bihar. ''All the state units of the party have been asked to send money from this fund to bring relief to the lakhs of people affected by the floods in Bihar,'' Mr Singh said.

Speaking at the Rally, which was attended by senior party leaders including Gopinath Munder, Ravi Shanker Prasad, BJP General secretary Vijay Goel, Delhi BJP chief Harshvardhan, Leader of the Opposition in the Delhi Legislative assembly Jagdish Mukhi, Delhi Mayor Aarti Mehra, party MLAs and councillors, BJP leader and former Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani said more important than sending the money was to rescue those marooned in the flood water.
