Army organises 'ek shaam shaheedon ke naam' at Udhampur

Jammu, Aug 31 (UNI) Medical fraternity of the Army today organised 'ek shaam shaheedon ke naam', a tribute to the brave soldiers of the country at military station in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir.

''The programme was about saluting the soldiers who guard the frontiers and a lyrical homage to the brave jawans who gave their today to keep the nation's tomorrow safe,'' an Army spokesman said in a press statement issued here.

The programme was interspersed with patriotic songs presented by artistes of the medical fraternity of military station.
