AR dispatches relief materials to Bihar

Shillong, Aug 31 (UNI) The Assam Rifles today dipatched forty truckloads of relief materials, mainly tents to the flood affected areas of Bihar.

"We dispatched mainly tents realising the need to accommodate those displaced people who have been affected by the floods," Assam Rifles spokesman Lt Col Shashank Ranjan said.

He said the tents would accommodate some 25,000 people.
