VHP expresses grief on Birla's death

New Delhi, Aug 30 (UNI) Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) today mourned the death of K K Birla saying the country has lost an eminent industrialist, social worker and a noted media personality.

Recalling his immense contribution in the field of religion and social service, VHP joint secretary Champat Rai said Birla was instrumental in construction of several temples besides being the guardian of social and religious beliefs.

In a condolence meet prayers were offered for the peace of the departed soul.

The meeting was attented by Indraprastha VHP president Swadesh Pal Gupta, joint general secretary Satyendra Mohan, Organising secretary Karuna Prakash, spokesperson Vinod Bansal and several office bearers.
