Mayawati condoles death of K K Birla
Lucknow, Aug 30 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati today expressed profound grief over the demise of eminent industrialist and public figare K K Birla.
In a condolence message, Ms Mayawati said Mr Birla played an active role in industrialisation of the country and focussed setting up establishments in the backward areas.
The Chief Minister further said the media world had suffered a major set back with the demise of Birla as he made a great contribution for development of creative journalism.
While extending her heartfelt condolence, its she prayed for peace for the departed soul.
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh governor T V Rajeswar and Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav also conveyed deep sorrow over the demise of the renowned industrialist.
