Lindsay Lohan's dad blames ex-wife for 'Samantha outburst'

London, Aug 30 : American actress Lindsay Lohan's father Michael has started targeting his ex-wife Dina, after accusing Samantha Ronson of dating his daughter for fame.

Michael had stated that Ronson was seeing his daughter to increase the sales of a book she claims doesn't even exist.

When his attention shifted to his ex-wife, to whom he had been married for 22 years before divorcing last year, he blamed her for instigating him about Ronson. "Dina told me that Sam was writing a book, that Sam was a negative influence on Lindsay and that Sam needs to be out of Lindsay's life... then she asked me how to do it!!" the Sun quoted him as saying.

After his revelation, Michael then revealed his feelings about his ex-wife, who he declared "took a percentage of Lindsay's money when I never took a red cent!"

"Dina is a money-loving, fame-seeking, self-serving deceiver, who comes from roots of the same," he said.

"Meanwhile they say I seek fame! Ha! I am out there doing charity work, going on mission trips, working with the United Nations and trying to help my daughter while spending sleepless nights with a father dying of cancer," he stated.

Michael's father passed away on August 29, and in the same statement he released to OK! magazine he passed a comment about Dina also.

"My father just, literally, died in my arms," he said.

"I notified all my kids and my lawyer notified Dina's attorney. Let's see if she has the decency and respect to bring my kids to the wake and funeral. This will show her true colours! Thus, not even a call. But that's par for the course with Dina! She didn't even send a card or visit when he was sick," he added.
