AIADMK to hold demo on bus fare hike in Pondy

Puducherry, Aug 30 (UNI) The AIADMK here would hold a demonstration in front of the new bus stand on September one to condemn fare hike by private bus operators here.

AIADMK State Secretary A Anbazhagan today gave a copy of the statement issued by Party Supremo Jayalalitha in Chennai on the issue.

Meanwhile, Viduthalai Chiruthaigal KAtchi volunteers today held a demonstration near the Venkatasubbareddiyar Statue asking the government to fix the fares for autorickshaws, taxis,tourist buses and cable TV among others.
