Abduction of school students fabricated: Andaman police

Port Blair, Aug 30 (UNI) The Andaman and Nicobar (A&N) police today made it clear that the recent rumours of the kidnapping of St Mary School students here were completely fabricated.

Superintendent of Police in Andaman Ashok Chand told UNI today that the stories narrated by students seemed to be completely fabricated and baseless, adding it appeared that the children produced some highly imaginative stories to cover up their mischief.

There were strong rumours that one or two students of St Mary School were kidnapped yesterday by two miscreants and the students managed to escape somehow.
