Punjab CM extends helping hand for flood-affected Bihar
Patna, Aug 29 (UNI) Punjab Chief Minister Prakash Singh Badal today offered relief assistance to Bihar to meet the flood challenge, assuring that sufficient amount of fodder would be sent to the flood -ravaged areas in the state soon.
The assurance came from Mr Badal in his telephonic talk to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, who apprised him of the prevailing flood situation and also the relief requrements to face the calamity. Mr Badal, who made the telephone call to Mr Kumar, assured the latter that sufficient amount of fodder would be despatched to Bihar to meet the needs of stranded cattles in the flood-affected areas.
The Punjab Chief Minister also sympathised with the flood-battered people of Bihar.
