National e-Governance Mission being implemented in Haryana
Chandigarh, Aug 29 (UNI) All the 108 mandis and 25 sub-centres of the Agricultural Marketing Board in Haryana have been provided with computing and internet facilities and training to publish the prices of agricultural commodities on daily basis for the convenience of farmers and traders.
Disclosing this here today, a spokesman of Information Technology department said the State Government had been successfully implementing the National e-Governance Mission to make all government services accessible to the common man.
Besides giving emphasis on implementing eleven Mission Mode e-governance projects, identified under the National e-Governance plan, the State Government has prioritized five more sectors as additional Mission Mode Projects.
The Mission Mode projects identified under National e-Governance Mission included agriculture, commercial taxes, e-District Employment Exchange, land records, municipalities, panchayats, police, property registration, road transport and treasuries.
The sectors added as the Mission Mode Projects by the State Government were health, education, food and supplies, social welfare and PWD.
