Mr Gourishankar appointed as SIDC Chairman

Bangalore, Aug 29(UNI) Former JD(S) legislator B C Gourishankar who resigned to his assembly and joined BJP, was appointed as Karnataka Small Industries Development Corporation Chairman.

Mr Gourishankar, son of former minister and JD(S) leader Chanigappa had resigned to his Madhugiri assembly seat recently and joined BJP was rewarded with the post.

Among the seven legislators including four from JD(S) and three from Congress were made as ministers while others appointed to various boards and corporations.

Renowned Musician Dr Narasimhulu Vadavati from Raichur as appointed as Karnataka Music and Dance Academy Chairman.
