MIL opens blow moulding unit at Bangalore
New Delhi, Aug 29: Minda Industries Ltd (MIL), the listed arm of NK Minda Group, on Friday, Aug 29 said its facility for manufacturing blow moulding parts at Bidadi in Bangalore has commenced production. MIL will invest a total of Rs 25 crore in the facility, of which Rs 10 crore have already been invested, a company statement said.
The company is targeting Rs 50 crore topline from this venture in the next few years. The installed capacity of the plant is 6,00,000 units per annum. The facility, set up in technical collaboration with Indonesia-based Kyoraku, will supply blow moulded plastic parts to OEMs, including Toyota, it added.
