Kamal Nath hopes further dip in inflation

New Delhi, Aug 29 (UNI) Commerce and Industry Minister Kamal Nath today expressed the hope that inflation would further moderate in the coming weeks and months.

Replying to a question, he said inflation is expected to come down over a period of time and hoped the declining trend would continue.

The headline inflation declined by 23-basis point to 12.40 per cent for the week ended August 18.

This is the first time rate of increase in wholesale prices has fallen in more than six months.
