HC tells Punjab Govt to serve three-day notice to Chahal
Chandigarh, Aug 29 (UNI) Justice S D Anand of Punjab and Haryana High Court today directed the Punjab government to give a clear notice of three working days, if the petitioner Bharat Inder Singh Chahal, media advisor to ex-chief minister Amarinder Singh was to be arrested or required to be questioned in connection with any case against him.
Chahal, alleging political vendetta, had apprehended attempts by state authorities to implicate him in ''false and frivolous'' cases and prayed for grant of blanket bail.
