Copters for govn officials to reach naxal-hit Chhattisgarh
Dantewada, Chhattisgarh, Aug 29 (UNI) Chhattisgargh government has been providing helicopters to state officials for making 2,024 photo electoral identity cards in naxal-affected Jagarguda area, official sources said today.
Jagargua was 70 km from here and was reigned by ultras hence the only mean for government officials to reach this place was chopper only.
A team of officials and a photographer was sent to Jagarguda today. Nine relief camps were set up in the area.
Earlier, state government had provided copters for high school and higher secondary class students to reach here for their examinations. Similarly, choppers delivered ration to police department every month.
