Zenith launches low cost 'Eco-style PC' at Rs 11,990
New Delhi, Aug 28: In a move to cater to the growing demands of tier-II and tier-III cities, the country's second largest PC manufacturer Zenith Computers has launched 'Eco-style PC' priced at Rs 11,990 with plans to sell one lakh units by the end of the current fiscal.
''The new PC is targeted at home users, individuals and customers for the Tier II and III cities of the country and we plan to sell one lakh units by the fiscal-end,''company CMD Raj Saraf told reporters here on Thursday, Aug 28 during the launch. The company has also launched a new laptop priced at Rs 14,990 which will be available in the market from October. The company, which primarily exports its products to West Asia, South Africa and Eastern Europe, is looking forward to capture a significant share in the US and UK markets. In the last fout months, Zenith has also supplied 8,000 machines to IT giant IBM.
