US to contribute Rs 40 lakh to PMs Relief Fund for Bihar
New Delhi, Aug 28 (UNI) The United States will contribute Rs 40 lakh (100,000 dollars) to the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund to assist the victims of the recent floods in Bihar.
US Ambassador to India, David C Mulford, while making the announcement here this evening, expressed Washington's willingness to provide further support as needed.
The Ambassador also offered his condolences to the families of those killed in the disaster.
