RBD Palmolein falls, groundnutseed unchanged

Mumbai, Aug 28 (UNI) Price of RBD palmolein fell today on lack of demand, while groundnutseed remained unchanged today on scattered buying from stockists, traders at the Bombay Commodity Exchange said.

In oils (10 kg), Refined palmolein and sunflower exp fell by Rs 3 per ten kg each on sluggish demand by bulk consumers.

Cottonseed (refined) and castor comm also eased by Rs 2 and Rs 7 per 10 kg respectively on heavy selling pressure by local dealers.

However, Soyabean ref and kandla improved by Rs 6 and Rs 9 per 10 kg respectively on better buying support by stockists, traders said.

Among seeds (per quintal), castorseed Bombay and Disa shot up by Rs 15 and Rs 95 per quintal respectively on lesser stock supply by stockists.

However, castorseed Hyderabad fell by Rs 100 on lower buying support by stockists.

Other oil seeds remained flat on moderate demand by bulk consumers.

Except undec cottonseed, all de-oiled cakes remained steady on scattered buying support from stockists.

Undec cottonseed was down by Rs 100 on poor demand, traders added.
