Bindra to visit Bhopal
Bhopal, Aug 28 (UNI) Olympic gold medallist Abhinav Bindra will tomorrow donate his rifle to the city-based Shooting Academy.
A rousing reception is being planned for national hero Bindra. A procession would convey him from the airport to the Tatya Tope Nagar Stadium.
Additional Chief Secretary (Sports) Ranjana Chaudhry and Director (Sports) Sanjay Chaudhry told journalists here today that a sum of Rs 5 lakh would be awarded to Bindra at a function coinciding with hockey legend Major Dhyanchand's birth anniversary.
