Amarnath land row mishandled by J
Shimla, Aug 28 (UNI) BJP president Rajnath Singh today demanded restoration of land to Amarnath Shrine Board and reappointment of the Shrine Board's members.
"Amarnath land row has been mishandled by the Jammu and Kashmir government. The land should be realloted to the Shrine Board and all the members of the Board should be reappointed immediately," said the BJP president who is in Shimla to attend party manifesto review meeting.
He said that separatist forces in Srinagar should be punished and tackled strongly as they were "insulting the national flag" and were carrying Pakistan's flag in the valley during their protest.
"The per capita income of J and K is much higher than that of people of POK and separatists are misleading the innocent people of J and K to join the economically backward region," he said.
"The Pakistan Government should itself dismantle all terrorist camps active against India in Pakistan and if the Pakistan Government desires the help of Indian government for dismantling terorists camps India should extend the help to do so," Mr Rajnath Singh said.
