18 injured in accident

Kolhapur, Aug 28 (UNI) Eighteen people were injured in an accident involving a tempo trax, matador and indica car near the Atigree phata on the Kolhapur-Sangli state highway today.

People, travelling in the tempo from Aurangabad were on their way to Kolhapur after visiting a holy place, while the matador was proceeding towards Ichalkaranji from Kolhapur. the indica car bumped into the vehicles, police said.

All the injured, including some women and children, were rushed to the chattrapati pramila raje civil hospital, where condition of some was described as serious.
