Rewari to have Haryana's second Sainik School
Chandgiarh, Aug 27 (UNI) Haryana's second Sainik School would be established at Gothra Tappa Khori village in Rewari district at a cost of Rs 25 crore.
Irrigation and PWD (B&R) Minister Ajay Singh Yadav said the foundation stone of the Sainik School would be laid by Union Defence Minister A K Antony on August 29. Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda would preside over the function.
Mr Yadav said the state government had pledged to give a financial grant of Rs 1.5 crore to the school annually.
He said with the opening of this school, the children of the region would not only get qualitative education but also get an opportunity to join the armed forces and guard our international boundaries.
