Norms for concessional cement further eased
Chennai, Aug 27 (UNI) The Tamil Nadu Government further relaxed the conditions for availing cement at a concessional price of Rs 200 per bag from the civil supplies godowns.
People who build new houses with a plinth area of less than 1000 sq ft can now purchase 400 bags of cement at Rs 200 per bag by producing ration cards, an official press release here quoting Chief Minister M Karunandhi's order said.
Earlier, they were required to produce the plan approval for availing 400 bags of cement at concessional rates for building a house with less than 1000 sq ft area, it added.
