AP: Naxal with Maoist ideology surrenders
Vizianagaram, Aug 27: A member of the CPI(Maoist) Nagavali Dalam committee M Papa Rao alias has Vijay has surrendered before the sub-divisional police station at Parvathipuram in this district.
According to District Deputy Superintendent of Police B Sudarshana Rao, the 22-year-old extremist was vexed with the Maoist ideology and surrendered himself before the police.
Hailing from Balesu Panchayat village in Gummalakhsmipuram mandal in the district, he joined the banned outfit in 2004 and participated in many actions, including the blast at the Development Office in 2005, and the railway station traffic signal panel board blast at Kuneru in Komarada Mandal in the district in 2007, the police official added.
