Jeweller killed in Sitamarhi, ornaments worth Rs 2 lakhs looted
Sitamari, Aug 27 (UNI) A group of armed criminals killed a Jeweller with sharp edged weapon and looted ornaments worth Rs two lakh from his shop near Pupri police station area in the district.
Police today said the miscreants barged into the jewellery shop last night and looted the jewellery.
When owner of the shop Ram Chandra Shah alias Baba tried to resist them, the assailants attacked with sharp edged weapon injuring him seriously, police said adding he died on way to hospital.
Raids were on to nab the criminals, police said.
