Amar Naik gang member arrested

Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Aug 27 (UNI) The city crime branch police have arrested a member of the Amar Naik gang from MIDC Railway Station area here.

According to police, the crime branch received information that a Mumbai-based gangster was moving in the MIDC Railway Station area yesterday. The crime branch laid a trap and arrested the gangster Vijay Suryanarayan.

Police said around ten cases of robberies, thefts and burglaries were registered against him in various police stations of Mumbai.

The gangster, who hails from Marathwada, went to Mumbai in his childhood and later turned to the underworld. The crime branch handed him over to the Kranti Chowk Police Station.
