Power equipment worth Rs 1.5 cr seized, 3 held
Lucknow, Aug 25 (UNI) Police today seized power department's equipment worth Rs 1.5 crore in the market with the arrest of three people in Kanpur city.
In a joint operation, Kanpur Electricity Supply Company (KESCO) and a power department team, raided some shops at Bansti Nagar market in Juhi area and seized 13 transformers, PAC conductor and electric wires.
Kingin of the gang Ramesh Chandra was apprehended along with his two associates.
Meanwhile, police have launced a manhunt for two others.
