Diarrhea claims seven more lives in UP

Pilibhit, Aug 25, (UNI) At least seven people, including five members of a family, died due to diarrhea here in the last 24 hrs.

Official sources said the fresh deaths occurred at Barkhera Chaturai village in Bilsanda area of the district.

As many as 20 diarrhea patients were admitted to a hospital overnight, of whom 10 were discharged after the treatment.

A team of medical practitoners have been pressed into service in the affected areas, they added.
