Bangalore, Aug 25 (UNI) Members of Canara Bank Staff Union today staged protest demonstration against the Management's move in outsourcing the work of collection of cheques to and from local branches in Bangalore.
The Accounts Section, Bangalore, handles more than 40,000 cheques (both inward and outward) amounting to crores of rupees daily and all such instruments have been carried by the permanent employees of the Bank, Union Assistant Secretary K Nagaraj Shanbhague said in a release here.
