BSP for separate SGPC for Haryana
Fatehgarh Sahib, Aug 25 (UNI) Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) was in favour of setting up separate Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee in Haryana, party's Punjab unit president Avtar Singh Karimpuri said here today.
The separate committee would cause ''loss'' only to Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and his close aide and SGPC chief Avtar Singh Makkar and no other person would be affected, he said.
He said the BSP ''whole heartedly supported the demand for creation of separate Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee in Haryana so that there could be improvement in management of Gurdwaras.'' Mr Karimpuri also said his party would organise a rally in Punjab to ''create awareness among the people about ''mis-goverance'' of SAD-BJP government'' in the state.
