Mayawati least concerned about flood-victims: SP
Lucknow, Aug 24 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Samajwadi Party (SP) acting president Shivpal Singh Yadav today charged the Mayawati government with being least bothered about the critical flood situation in the state.
The ''Dalit ki beti'' has turned into ''Daulat ki beti'' and doing little to efface the woes of the people in the flood-hit areas, Mr Yadav said here.
The deluge has rendered a large population homeless, but instead of doing aerial surveys, Ms Mayawati was busy in the installation of busts and renovation of parks, the SP leader added.
All these activities have hurt democracy and established ''jungle raj'' in the state, he alleged.
Besides, the atrocities upon the dalit community was still existent in her regime, Mr Yadav charged.
