Mankotia levelling "baseless" allegations: Virbhadra

Shimla, Aug 24 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh former chief minister Virbhadra Singh today alleged that BSP leader Vijay Singh Mankotia was levelling ''baseless and false allegations'' against him.

Mr Singh was responding to Mr Mankotia's reported statements against him on the audio CD case.

He said that Mankotia does not have any legal evidence to substantiate the allegations leveled against him.

''The CD is a piece of fabrication containing false and frivolous allegation and there is no authenticated source of alleged CD,'' he alleged.

Mr Singh said that at this stage he did not want to comment upon the investigating agency with respect to the so called comparison of voice as the matter was sub judice.
