Maharashtra rolls out red carpet for Tata's nano
Mumbai, Aug 23 (UNI) Maharashtra government today rolled out a red carpet for Tata Motors to set up their small car Nano project in the state.
In a statement here, Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh invited Tata Motors Chairman Ratan Tata to set up the unit in the state if it decided to move out from West Bengal, where it is mired in controversy.
''The Tatas will be accorded red carpet welcome to set up the project in Maharashtra and will be given land and necessary facilities,'' Mr Deshmukh said.
