Hooda greets people on Janmashtmi

Chandigarh, Aug 23 (UNI) Greeting the people on the occasison of Janamashtami, Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today urged the people to follow the philosophy of 'Karma'(action) as propagated by Lord Krishna.

In a message issued on the occassion of Janmashtami, which is celebrated to mark the birthday of Lord Krishna, Mr Hooda said that Lord Krishna had delivered His celestial message based on the philosophy of 'Karma' to wavering Arjuna shortly before the epic battle of Mahabharta.

He added His philosophy of 'Karma' as mentioned in Srimad Bhagvadgita had been the guiding spirit for the humanity even today.

The CM urged the people to celebrate the festival of Janmashtami with traditional fervour as such festivals promote feeling of brotherhood and national integration.
