Cong to lose MP Assly polls: Azam
Indore, Aug 23 (UNI) Congress leader and Madhya Pradesh Waqf Board President Gufrane Azam said Congress would not be able to secure majority in the next state Assembly polls.
Addressing mediapersons in 'Meet to Press' programme, Mr Azam said that Congress has become the property of bigwigs in the state and those who flatter them could manage the tickets.
''This point will become main point of their defeat in elections,'' he added.
The Congress leader said that he was unaware about the announcement made in the Congress convention in Chhindwara to project Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Kamal Nath as Chief Minister in the Assembly polls scheduled this year end.
''I will free the land of Waqf Board from the encroachments,'' he added.
