Bomb threat at ST bus depots at Surendranagar, Limbdi towns
Ahmedabad, Aug 23 (UNI) Bomb threats at Gujarat state transport bus depots in Surendranagar and Limbdi towns of Saurashtra region today turned out to be hoax calls.
Surendranagar District Superintendent of Police Ashok Kumar Yadav told UNI that depot managers in both the towns received Inland Letters, threatening that Bombs were planted in the premises.
He said police teams, along with sniffer dogs and bomb disposal squads, were sent to both the places but a two hour search yielded nothing.
He said after preliminary investigation it was found that both letters were written in Gujarati language and were posted from Vadodara city.
The letters were likely to be sent to the Gujarat FSL, Mr Yadav added.
