Two jawans injured in encounter with ultras in Latehar

Latehar, Aug 22 (UNI) A CRPF jawan and a Special Task Force personnel were injured in an encounter with maoists at Laat village under Barwadih Police Station area in this district today.

Police said the jawans, Nandu Das from STF and Kisan Gora from CRPF, were taken to Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences in Ranchi.

The encounter lasted two hours.
