UPCC celebrates Rajiv Gandhi's birth anniversary as Sadbhavna Divas

Lucknow, Aug 20 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Congress today celebrated former late prime minister Rajiv Gandhi's 64th birth anniversary as 'Sadbhavana Divas.' The partymen, including UPCC president Rita Bahuguna Joshi, Congress general secretary and in charge Digvijay Singh, congregated at Kalidas Marg and Mall Avenue here and paid floral tribute to the late PM.

Speaking on the occassion, Mr Singh said Mr Gandhi was an epitome of simplicity and patience. Work done by him for the people's representatives especially constitutional rights, is unforgettable, he added.

Mr Joshi said Mr Gandhi was the youngest prime minister in the world and earned respect worldwide for his talent and administrative quality.
