Seven students injured in school roof collapse
Dehra Dun, Aug 20 (UNI) At least seven school children were injured, three of them seriously, when the tin roof of the school they were studying in collapsed in Setpur village near Laksar area in Hardwar today.
The incident occurred around 0900 hrs this morning.
Talking to UNI, a Laksar Police Inspector, who was on the spot, said the tin roof of a private school catering to around 25 young students collapsed this morning injuring seven, of which the condition of three was stated to be serious.
He attributed the cause to persistent rains in the area.
The injured had been admitted to a local hospital and were undergoing treatment, he added.
