Police lathicharge in Kajli Mela prog, leaves 12 wounded
Mahoba, Aug 20 (UNI) Altogether 12 people sustained injuries after police lathicharged to control some berserk viewers at the historic Kajli Mela here late last night, police said today.
The incident occurred after a group of people hindered a cultural programme at Kajli Mela in Daak Bangla ground, sources said.
A woman was severely injuried and was rushed to Jhansi Medical College for treatment.
Meanwhile, police arrested six people in this connection.
