One shot dead, another wounded in Kashmir

Srinagar, Aug 20 (UNI) One person was shot dead and another wounded by militants in the Kashmir valley overnight, official sources said today.

They said the militants shot at and critically wounded a 32-year-old Noor Mohammad Seer at Guri Hajan in Bandipora district, about 55 km from here. He was immediately admitted to the Sub-district hospital where he died.

Militants shot at and injured a released militant of the Lashker-e-Toiba (LeT) Jan Mohammad Wandroo alias Jane Kandroo, near his house at Muslim Peer, Sopore. He was admitted to hospital.
