Mahakumbhabhishekam of Manicka Vinnayar sannidhi performed

Tiruchirapalli, Aug 20 (UNI) The Mahakumbhabhishekam of Shri Manicka Vinayagar Sannidhi in the Shri Thayumanavar Swamy temple complex (Rockfort) was performed with religious fervour today.

Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment Minister K R Periyakaruppan, Transport Minister K N Nehru, Forest Minister N Selvaraj, HR and CE department Commissioner T Pitchandi, among others participated.

Temple Trust Board chairman M Sundararajulu and temple executive officer G Gopalakrishnan told reporters that renovation works, including a gold-coated Vimanam (tower) was carried out in connection with the Mahakumbhabhishekam at a cost of Rs three crore through public contribution.
