Dy CM ask CP to investigate into Athavale's complaint
Mumbai, Aug 20 (UNI) Maharashtra deputy Chief Minister R R Patil has asked city police commissioner to investigate whether a case of atrocity could be registered against the COLORS channel for non-inclusion of Republican Party of India (A) president and MP Ramdas Athavale in the 'Bigg Boss, Season Two' Reality show.
Talking to reporters here today, Mr Patil said Mr Athavale had complained to him that the channel had ignored him from the show, despite being approached earlier, as he was from backward community.
''I have asked the city police commissioner to investigate whether this could be a case of atrocity,'' he said.
Meanwhile, Mr Patil said the forest department is investigating the chinkara poaching case against former state Transport and Tribal welfare minister Dharmarao Baba Atram and necessary action would be taken.
