Complete shutdown in sopore to protest death of young man
Baramulla, Aug 20 (UNI) A complete shutdown was today observed in apple township of Sopore in this district of north Kashmir in protest against the death of a youth.
Shops and business establishments are closed and traffic was off the roads though there was no strike call from any organisation.
Work in government offices was also affected due to the strike.
Asif Ahmad Shall was critically wounded when he fell from top of a vehicle at Pattan on way to United Nations Military Observers Office at Sonawar on a call given by both the factions of the Hurriyat Conference on Monday last.
He was admitted to hospital where he died this morning.
