CBPWA to conduct prize money meet

Chandigarh, Aug 20 (UNI) The Chandigarh Badminton Players Welfare Association (CBPWA) will conduct prize money state ranking tournament every year in collaboration with the Chandigarh Badminton Association (CBA).

It was decided in a CBPWA meeting held here under the chairmanship of association president Geeta Goyal.

In the meeting, the CBPWA also decided to send young talented players to Indonesia and Malaysia for training. CBA presidents MC Sethi and TPS Puri assured the CBPWA for best possible help in this regards.

The CBPWA will launch the talent hunt scheme in schools colleges and clubs. The selected players will be provided equipments and kit.
